Newsletter & Journal ‘Camel Post’

The Newsletter is published in January and July each year (alternating with the journal). It contains news, notices and reports of meetings, minutes, auction information, details of future events, new members, publications and other items not destined for the journal.

Camel Post, the official journal of the Sudan Study Group, is published twice yearly, in April and October. It contains articles written by members and other contributors on a wide range of subjects about the philately and postal history of the Sudan.

The journal was awarded a silver-gilt medal in the Literature Class at the National Philatelic Exhibition, Harrogate in 2008. An index of articles from issue No 1 (1977) until 2005 is available to members. The contents of recent issues of Camel Post are set out below:
